I remember the first time I thought about starting an online business. You will need at least $10k to get started was the response.
First, you need to get a domain name, then have a web designer create a website for you. That in itself would take $3k – $5k.
Second, you need a budget to pay for advertising, and probably the remaining budget would be taken up with advertising and other essentials.
How the world has changed.

“So, what are you selling?” and “It must have taken you ages to create that?” are some of the most common questions I was asked when I first started my online business.
The first question was wonderful, I could share a link and send people to a site with my unique link and make some money if they decided to buy.
“It must have taken you ages to create that?” the answer was, Yes! It took me ages to find this online I’d say with a smirk. You see, there are lots and lots of places where you can find products that other people are offering you the opportunity to sell for them. They pay you a commission for helping to sell their product.
Many people are great at creating a product but just don’t have the skills to market or sell it.
They are willing to offer you a share of the profits for simply sending potential clients to their website.

Starting an online business is one of the easiest and quickest types of businesses to set up.
An online business can be started in about a minute.
You would have a product and could post it to your following on Social Media. Best of all, you would probably make a sale or two from that.
