After a severe car accident that required learning to walk again, Karen turned to entrepreneurship as a necessity to support her family, fostering a career that has now spanned over 35 years, with 25 dedicated to the online business sphere. Her foundational education includes certificates in English Language and Literature, Statistics, History, and French, enhanced further by tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Business Marketing, ISO9001, Writing ISO9001 Manuals, Commercial Law, and Probate from New Zealand universities.

Karen’s professional life began in the Inland Revenue UK, where I specialized in self-employed affairs before moving to New Zealand. There, my career took a diverse turn in banking, advancing through various high-level positions which included head office accounting, IT, and mortgages. My entrepreneurial ventures started post-banking, leading to my first business in the fire industry, marking several firsts as a woman in New Zealand.
