A Day in the Life – How I Fit Strategy, AI, and Seaside Moments into My Business

Welcome to Strategy in Motion – Behind the Scenes of My Online Business where I’ll be sharing what it takes to build an online business and be an investor.

I’ve had a lot of people ask, “How do you fit everything in?”

Between running a business, investing, coaching clients, recording podcasts, updating websites, and staying on top of AI tools—it can look like a lot (and it is!).

But the truth is, I’ve built a structure that works around my life, not the other way around.

So today, I’m giving you a peek behind the curtain—a typical working day that blends strategy, creativity, and a little beach time with my dog, Loki.

My Typical Workday: Strategy in Motion

5:30 AM – Wake-up Call from Loki
My day starts early. Loki, my energetic Malinois/Collie cross, is always ready for his morning walk—rain or shine. It’s the perfect way to clear my head and prepare for the day ahead.

7:00 AM – Market & Crypto Review
With drink in hand, I check in on the global share and crypto markets and making any adjustments to positions. It’s a quiet, focused time that sets the tone for smart decision-making throughout the day.

8:00 AM – Business Planning with AI
This is where the real work begins.
I use my AI tools—especially Mapra, my Business Action Planner—to plan the day. Combined with ChatGPT, it helps me create a focused to-do list, organize content, and align everything to my long-term business goals.

8:30 AM – Blog Creation & Publishing
By now, the ideas are flowing. I review and finalize blog drafts created with AI, edit them with my voice and insights, and post them:

Podcast or Training Video Work
Depending on the day, I either outline a new podcast episode or prep a training session. Then I record, edit, and prepare everything for upload. Having a solid system here saves me hours.

Some days it might simply be writing chapters for a book.

10:30 AM – Dog Walk Break
Time to reset and recharge—with another walk for Loki and a break for me.

11:00 AM – Uploads; Client Prep and Social Media Posts
This is when I upload podcasts or course videos to the appropriate platforms. I also review coaching materials and adjust presentations if needed based on the latest insights or questions from clients. Schedule Social Media Posts and work on anything else that’s been identified from the earlier planning session.

12:30 PM – Beach Time
I’m lucky to live just 30 metres from the sea—so Loki and I head to the beach. It’s more than a break. It’s part of the lifestyle I’m building—and part of the wealth strategy too: designing a life you don’t need to escape from.

1:00 PM – Analytics
This is my second pulse-check of the day. I review metrics, analytics, and what’s happening in the broader markets. If something needs tweaking—messaging, design, content flow, projects —I make the call here. Nothing urgent, I work on my projects – website updates; books or new training courses.

2:00 PM – Sunshine + Creative Time
Afternoons are for time out to enjoy the sunshine, even the odd siesta. The downtime and relaxation becomes the most creative time of the day. Ideas flow.

7:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Client Coaching Sessions
Evenings are for coaching sessions with clients. I support entrepreneurs and investors from around the world, so this window works well with different time zones—and it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. For work/life balance, I restrict coaching to the first two weeks of the month.

Final Thoughts

It’s a full day—but it’s also a fulfilling one.

Running a business isn’t about hustling 24/7. It’s about building structure and flexibility, using tools (like AI) that multiply your time, and creating a rhythm that fits your life.

And that’s what Strategy in Motion is all about.

Each week I’ll be sharing more of what I’m doing, what I’m changing, and how you can apply it to your own business journey.

Thanks for following Strategy In Motion – A full first week update will be available shortly.
